Sofia Vergara is an actress, and if anyone knows how to look hot in a bikini, it’s her. The former star of Modern Family isn’t afraid to show off her smooth skin and curvy body, whether she’s on a beach or going for a swim. But her beach body didn’t come easily. The Colombian woman stays in shape by working out every day.
In an interview with SELF magazine in February 2017, Sofia said that she doesn’t like working out but knows how important it is.
“I’m getting older, and I know that it does make a difference. You can see it in the women and men who work out,” she said at the time. “Things start to change, and I feel like I have to go take care of it.”
But The Chef actress doesn’t always do the same thing. Sofia said that she usually changes her workouts every six months or so. At the time of her talk, she was boxing.
“I have very bad knees, so I can’t do CrossFit or anything else where I have to jump,” she said.
A healthy diet with a “balance” of sweets every now and then helps her keep her slim figure.
“I do have a lot of fruits and vegetables, and we cook fresh meats,” Sofia said. “But I also eat ice cream and sweets, which we do on the weekends. During the week, I try to keep myself in check.”
The judge on America’s Got Talent talked about how important sunscreen is for her face when she goes to the beach.
“I started putting sunblock on my face when I was very young,” she said, adding that she wishes she had known that it should also be put on the chest and neck.
Sofa sometimes posts swimsuit pictures of herself to her Instagram account. Some of these photos are from when she lived in Miami, Florida, in the 1990s. Sofia moved to a sunny place after moving to the U.S. in 1998. She stayed there until she moved to Los Angeles later in her starring career.

Sofia doesn’t just post pictures of herself on social media, though. She often posts photos of herself and her husband, Joe Manganiello, whom she married in November 2015. She tends to share events and holidays with the Magic Mike actor online, which makes it look like they are very much in love.
“Happy birthday, my wonderful husband!!!” In December 2021, she wrote on Instagram. “I love you so much!!!”
She sometimes posts pictures of her husband at the beach, but in these sultry pictures, she’s on her own.
