Sage Steele is an American sports journalist and TV anchor. She currently works at ESPN. Before joining ESPN, she was a host and reporter at Golf Channel.
She started her broadcasting career in college as a news intern at WSBT-TV in South Bend, Indiana. After graduating, she worked as a news reporter and weekend sports anchor at WBAL-TV in Baltimore, Maryland. Later, she moved to Florida and worked as a reporter and weekend sports anchor at WFTS-TV in Tampa.
In 1999, she began working at Golf Channel, where she hosted and reported on various shows like “Golf Central” and “The Morning Drive.”
In 2016, she joined ESPN as a host for “SportsCenter” and also filled in as a host for “Mike & Mike” and “First Take.”
She’s known for her coverage of major golf championships, as well as her appearances on NBA Countdown, College GameDay for football and basketball.
