Kelly Clarkson was married to Brandon Blackstock for almost seven years before they broke up in June 2020.
In May 2006, they met for the first time at a practice for the Academy of Country Music Awards. Clarkson and Blackstock, who is the grandson of Reba McEntire and the son of Narvel Blackstock, got engaged in December 2012 and got married in October 2013.
During their marriage, they had a girl named River Rose and a son named Remington Alexander. (From his first marriage to Melissa Ashworth, Blackstock also has a boy named Seth and a daughter named Savannah.)
