Kari Lake, a former TV news reporter and GOP candidate for governor of Arizona was caught swimming with her dog in her pool while the election results are still up in the air because Arizona law says the race could go to a recount.
Fox News’s Decision Desk, on the other hand, says that the likely winner will be the Democratic Secretary of State and that Katie Hobbs will be the next Governor of Arizona if the redo happens and the results don’t change.
Lake, on the other hand, looked calm and happy as she sat on an inflatable pool chair, drank iced tea, and cuddled with her cute dog.
Kari Lake left the Fox affiliate in Phoenix after 22 years to run for Governor of Arizona. She has been a vocal supporter of former President Donald Trump and got his backing after she questioned the results of the 2020 Presidential Elections.
Lake, who is known for her “common sense conservatism,” focused a lot of her campaign on issues related to the southern border and its continued security. She also spoke out against abortion and critical race theory in Arizona schools, but she supported school choice and wanted to focus on the growing problem of homelessness.
Katie Hobbs, who ran against Lake and is now Secretary of State, used her campaign to say that she supported protecting abortion rights and would work with Mexican officials and local law enforcement to make the southern border safer.
Hobbs didn’t take part in the gubernatorial debates, which Lake criticized at the time. In response, Hobbs said she didn’t want to give a platform to conspiracy theories, a jab at Lake’s unproven opinion that Trump stole the 2020 election.
