Jennifer Aniston’s popularity went through the roof after she played Rachel Green on the TV show Friends. She is still very busy with her acting career. She has been in movies like “We’re the Millers” and has a major role on “The Morning Show.” But the star of “Just Go With It” does sometimes take time to soak up the sun by going to the beach or taking a vacation. Each time, she wears a beautiful bikini or swimsuit.
The Los Angeles native posted an interesting black-and-white bathing suit picture on Instagram in December 2020. In the picture, Jennifer was leaning against a bar as she kissed her own reflection in the mirror.
“What a year,” was what Jennifer wrote in the post’s description at the time. “Reminder to be kind to yourself… and keep going.”
In an op-ed released by The Huffington Post in November 2016, the Break-Up star talked about how women are put under a lot of pressure by today’s beauty standards and how they look. At the time, the actress was the subject of untrue reports because she looked like she had a baby bump. She said she was “fed up” with “sport-like scrutiny and body-shaming.”
Jennifer wrote at the time, “If I’m a symbol to some people, then I’m an example of how we as a society see our mothers, daughters, sisters, wives, friends, and coworkers who are women.” “It’s crazy and upsetting that we treat women like objects and look at them so closely.”
She then said, “Cultural standards just need a different point of view so we can see them for what they really are: a group agreement, a tacit understanding.”
“We are in charge of our agreement,” the Apple TV+ actress said next. “Little girls everywhere pick up on our agreement, whether we mean to or not. And it starts very early. We all agree with the message that girls aren’t pretty unless they’re very thin and don’t deserve our attention unless they look like a supermodel or an actor on the cover of a magazine. This training is something girls keep with them when they become women.”
Jennifer also talked about the harmful body image standards women still have to deal with, as well as the pressure to have children and a “mate.”
“We are whole even if we don’t have a partner or a child,” she said. “When it comes to our bodies, we get to decide for ourselves what is beautiful. We are the only ones who can make that choice. Let’s decide this for ourselves and for the young women around the world who look up to us as role models… We can be whole without being married or having kids. We get to decide our own ‘happily ever after’ for ourselves.”
Still, the star from Office Space didn’t let the bad things people said about her get to her. She shows her Instagram fans stylish things she does every so often. Jennifer posted a few photos from a photoshoot in a December 2021 slideshow. One of the photos showed her wearing a stylish white bikini top, sun hat, and matching pants.
