Eilish hasn’t shared many photos of herself on Instagram in swimwear. People had said that the singer was “selling out” because she was wearing more feminine clothes. The singer recently replied to those people.
She wrote in a set of Instagram Stories in late May, “Letter to some comments I’ve been seeing sometimes,. I spent the first five years of my career getting slammed by you idiots for acting like a boy and looking like a boy. I was always told I’d be hotter if I acted more like a woman.
“And now, when I feel comfortable enough to wear anything slightly feminine or fitting, I CHANGED and became a sellout… and “what happened to her?” OMG, it’s not the same girl! She’s the same as everyone else, bla bla. You guys are true idiots. LOL. I can be both of you, you fuckwits. LEAVE WOMEN ALONE!”
Eilish said, “Did you know that women have many different sides? Isn’t that shocking? You might not believe it, but women can be interested in more than one thing. Also, being a woman doesn’t mean being weak?!! Omg?! Crazy, right? How come? And it’s unheard of and crazy to want to say different things at different times.” These were the most direct and honest comments Eilish has made this year about how people see her.
